Saturday December 14, 2002Good news: Not only is Nali City back with a vengeance, but also it has reviewed my latest UT map. Here's an excerpt:This isn’t a great map, but it’s a good one. A lot of work and imagination went into it. I can appreciate the effort. With 16 players, the map has a good feel. It’s really busy in some places, and other spots let you catch your breath and plan your next move. Then there are plenty of spots that are between these two extremes. First of all, I would recommend you check out Wolf's Unreal, a great site for unrealed tutorials. Here is the direct link to his Mover tutorials:Mover Tutorial 1 | Mover Tutorial 2 Here is my supplement to Wolf's mover tutorial: In your builder room (which is a separate, large, room that is not connected to your actual map), you do the intersection and you have a red brush. Now you move that red brush to the place inside your map where you want the mover. You click on the 'Add Mover' brush. Nothing happens! But actually, you have to move the red brush away, and then you will see a purple brush underneath. The purple brush is the Mover brush. Right-click on that, select 'Properties', and you're in business. OFF TOPIC: The Babylon 5 Season One DVD Box Set is out.
